I’m trying something very new today and bringing you a recipe! Today I’m going to share with you how to make an amazing summer salsa, also known as a mango salsa but with a twist, aka red and green peppers! This recipe takes a total of 15 minutes to make, you can adjust the flavours and portions to your liking, it requires no cooking, baking, or frying. Mango salsa is quick, easy, and healthy! It’s the perfect feel good snack and it works great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Enjoy.
3 Mangos- Peeled, and Diced
1/3 of a Red Pepper- Diced
1/3 of a Green Pepper- Diced
The Juice of 1/4 of a Lime
3 Tablespoons of Chopped Cilantro
1 Tablespoon of Red Onion- Finely Chopped or Minced
Salt and Pepper, To Taste
Simply chop everything up, add it all to a bowl, and stir together! How much easier can you get?
Helpful Hint: When dicing your mango, simply cut around the pitt, into halves, score the mango and scoop out with a spoon.
*This dish is best served chilled, so feel free to make this ahead of time and keep in the fridge for whenever you need a little something!
I recommend this salsa with:
Crackers, tortilla chips, pita, In sandwiches/wraps, on toast, with some grilled chicken, steak, or even fish! It’s so versatile you can really eat it with anything, the possibilities are endless.
